Recruitment

What exactly are you looking for in your college experience?

If you’re anything like me, you want to do more than just go through the motions. You want to excel in the classroom, on the athletic field, and within the social scene. You want to leave this amazing College feeling like you challenged yourself and took advantage of every opportunity presented to you. Please trust me when I tell you that the best way to accomplish all of these things is to become involved in Greek  life at Roanoke College. Joining a fraternity opens up an entire world of opportunities for an undergraduate man: amazing friends that you will value for life, the most extensive social network on campus, a wealth of academic resources, intense athletic competition, the opportunity to immediately assume leadership roles, and a rich network of successful alumni, just to name a few.

But, if you want to get serious about joining a fraternity, you need to get serious about PIKE. The Phi (Roanoke College) chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha is one of the most unique and character rich chapters in the country. Some highlights from the past year include  a first place finish in Greek Week as well as winning all 4 soroities weeks in one year (a clean sweep), countless awards at the national convention, domination in all inimural sports offered on campus, and hosting Afro-Man for our Bids day party.

Recently, Pi Kappa Alpha was named Roanoke College’s Fraternity of the Year, and Phi Chapter’s President, Nathan Castellano, was named Greek Man of the Year. We are an orginization made up of the most outstanding men on campus that seek to make the most of our short time here as undergraduates.

A new year is upon us, and Rush is just around the corner. If you are a freshman, a returning student who hasn’t already joined a Greek organization, or if you are the kind of person who sees every challenge as an opportunity, I strongly encourage you to come and check us out.

If you feel that you have what it takes to be a PIKE – a Scholar, a Leader, an Athlete, and a Gentleman, please don’t hesitate to contact me or any of the rush chairs. We are looking forward to meeting you.

Keep it Simple, Rush the Best.
